About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated Postdoc to join our group within our Cluster of Excellence (https://www.circularbioengineering.at), where we tackle some of the most exciting challenges in lignocellulose chemistry focusing on analytical method development for lignocelluloses. Our research focuses on ways to deepen the understanding of basic lignocellulosic polymers, in particular cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin to provide basic knowledge for future applications and designing novel materials. This is your chance to contribute to work that has real-world applications and scientific significance.

Required skills and qualifications
º Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Analytics or a related field
º Language skills: very good English skills
º Curious, creative, and driven to solve complex scientific problems
º Experience with cellulose and/or lignin is desirable
º Excited to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment
Desirable skills and qualifications
º Experience in chemical synthesis
º Experience in analytical method development
º Experience in publishing in international, chemistry related, peer-reviewed journals
º Supervision of master or PhD students
